“The feedback we had for the sessions was really good. Our leaders on site told us that he did very well in being able to engage the children that can be quite challenging at times. Knowing the children they were talking about means I can say that that is quite the achievement”. Simon Pollard (percussion)

Highfield Junior School, Bromley

“We had a great carnival day, thank you. Raz was very good at getting things organised and took charge of presenting to the children. Marcia and Raz taught them well so that they gave a great performance to parents. Children and parents enjoyed things very much. We, as teachers, were very impressed. Thank you.” David Kerry, Yr 5 tutor (percussion & dance)

William Ford School, Dagenham

“We had the dance and drumming on Friday and it was fantastic! The children really enjoyed it and thanks again for fitting us in, it was a great day.” Laura Bonfield (percussion & dance)

New Fosseway Special Needs School, Bristol

“Our key stage thought they were excellent, we are obviously quite varied in need but they appealed to all. The instruments were great and the man had a very soothing tone with the kids. The dance session was appropriate and accessible and there was a lot of smiles on the children’s faces. The art session was probably the least appropriate for our guys, just due to their poor fine motor skills, however the resources were good and the kids loved wearing their creations afterwards. Thank you for coming in and sharing your time with us.” Laura Hines, Head of key stages 1 & 2 (percussion, dance & visual arts)

Sauncey Wood Primary School, Harpenden

“Our school had a wonderful day exploring, drums, dance and masks for our Brazilian Carnival day. The teachers were knowledgeable, fun and engaged the children in a great learning experience. We would definitely book again.” Rochelle Cherry (percussion, dance & visual arts)

St Louis Primary School, Newmarket

“I wonder if you could pass on a huge thank you to Raz for a fantastic day today! The children absolutely loved their drumming experience and I was amazed at how quickly they were able to pick up on the drumming techniques with Raz’s instruction! I know that the children will look back very fondly on their day, so many thanks again. Please convey my sincere thanks to Raz for today’s drumming workshop.  Our children really enjoyed the opportunity to make music with Raz and it was wonderful to watch them develop their skills over the course of the workshops.” Alice Lebbon, teacher (African drumming)

Surbiton High School, Kingston upon Thames

“It was brilliant! Wow, your guys were amazing and the end results were incredible! The workshops were all fantastic! Please pass on our thanks again to them all. I know it was a busy and tricky schedule but they were so good at knowing what they were doing and where to go which is incredibly helpful on these busy days!! Awesome – many thanks!” Daisy Sunda, Music Teacher/Event Organiser (African Drumming)

Hylands School, Romford

“Your team were absolutely amazing! They arrived very early to set up and were extremely friendly and enthusiastic.  The children loved being ‘drummed in’ to the introductory assembly. The body percussion session by Ollie was so full of energy and a sense of fun; that he had the children captivated within moments. This continued to be the theme for the day. Well focused sessions full of information: the region of Africa where the drums were from, the different drum names, how they could be played to create different sounds etc. The team were a huge success and perhaps some of the children’s own word best reflect this.   “Thank you for teaching me how to play the drum. It was 100% the best thing I had done that week” – Grace   “I absolutely loved playing all the different instruments! Thank you so much for coming to our school.” – Louie   After the half term holiday when telling the nursery children we were going to the hall a little boy asked “Are we having the drums today?”. He is a really quiet 4 year old who doesn’t really chat very much so obviously the day made a huge impact on him. Just to say a very big thank you for making our festival of culture so special and a most memorable day for all the children

Stagecoach, Twickenham

“Thank you for your email. Yes we were VERY pleased. The workshop was amazing and ran wonderfully. It was just what I wanted and a super end to the end of the year. Raz and Ella were amazing and I would like to pass on my thanks and apologies for not offering them more refreshments- it was a busy day! I will definitely use your company again! Thank you so much for all your help.” Sarah Chitty (percussion & dance)

Bridge Learning Campus, Bristol

“All the sessions were very well received and I had lots of positive feedback – the tutors prepared well for special needs, they listened to and worked with the pupils well and the children really enjoyed all the sessions! Thank you again for all three wonderful sessions!” Elizabeth Passingham (percussion, dance & visual arts)
