West African Drumming
These workshops are a full immersion learning experience through the positive power of drumming.
Our main focus is djembe drums from West Africa. In an exciting and energetic way, we’ll learn how to combine tones, create rhythms and work together as a group to produce dynamic, poly-rhythmic music.
Our African drumming workshops give participants the opportunity to experience the instant gratification of group music making, following the intricate call-and-response element of African percussion-driven music.
By the end of the workshop, the participants will be producing amazing music, creating a sound together that they never thought possible.
